A Gay Jewish Man Considers Yeshua (Pray!)
Good things are happening at Shelanu TV!
I recently received a couple of great testimonies from our station manager, Evan Santoro.
During “Pride Week”, here, in Israel, we were contacted by someone who had watched one of our videos – a testimony of a man who used to lead a homosexual lifestyle, before he was able, through faith, to turn his life around by changing his ways, and to find the right path to live a normal heterosexual life. Today, he is happily married with children and tells his story to inspire others to follow the path of faith as he did, so that they too can find peace and the necessary strength to make a change. That viewer was moved by the testimony and asked us for the interviewer’s contact details. We will keep in touch with this young man and provide more information once we have it.
Another young man, from a strict religious background, has reached out to us. After a long period of extensive search and reflection about topics like faith and God, he had come to the conclusion that he may have been lied to his entire life and decided to learn more about the New Testament and Yeshua (Jesus). He gave his phone number to our representative and we hope this relationship bears fruit and the necessary guidance for this young man in his search for answers and the truth.
The hunger for truth in Israelis is growing! Last month, we mailed out more than a dozen New Testaments in Hebrew (you have to remember that to most Jewish people this book is either blasphemous or irrelevant!) and almost 20 of my book Identity Theft in Hebrew (a story that reveals the truth of Yeshua the Messiah).
We continue to spread the word to tens of thousands of viewers in Israel—but there are 9 million Israelis! We have much work to do!
