Last night’s Passover Outreach was truly amazing.
Last night’s Passover Outreach was truly amazing. More than 400 people gathered in the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. (which is remarkable, by the way). Joshua Aaron led us in worship, and Rabbi Aaron Allsbrook officiated the seder with his wife, Brooke. I shared for about 30 minutes. It was the first time in many years that I preached a message to Jewish unbelievers, and there were several Jewish not-yet believers there.
I met one in the elevator, J.M. He was brought to the Seder by his neighbor. As we were leaving, she told me that J.M. was deeply moved. When I prayed a prayer of salvation, he took hold of her hand and prayed along with us. Someone sent me this morning, “I had an unbelieving Jewish couple grab me afterward to say they enjoyed the message.”
And who knows how many people watch online or METV in the Middle East! I will share the message with you as soon as I get a copy.
This is why Jewish media outreach is so important. Jewish people today have many questions, and they are looking for answers. I asked last night, “What was it like to celebrate Passover in Germany in 1933, as the Nazis took power?” This year’s Passover Seder is the first time that I have ever read through the story of the Jews being freed from slavery, and I can see hatred for Jews being openly expressed.
The season of toleration of Jews that we have known has been an aberration from the rest of Jewish history. Persecution and hatred are the norm—from Haman to Hitler. And I am sure that millions of Jews were feeling a similar thing as they had their Seder meals: It’s happening again. On Passover, a prominent Jewish rabbi warned Jewish students at Columbia University to stay off campus because of the pro-Hamas groups that have taken over!
Now is the time to share with Jewish people how they can have eternal life through Yeshua. Media is the tool to reach them. Our Hebrew channel is watched by Israelis 24/7. They have questions, and we humbly present Yeshua as the answer.
As we enter these dark days, believers worldwide must stand with Israel and show them who Yeshua truly is. One way you can do that is by supporting Shelanu TV—the only 24/7 digital Hebrew language channel. We have seen a noticeable increase in engagement on our social media channels—and not just us; many outreach ministries in Israel are reporting the same thing.
Please consider a special Passover gift to Messiah’s Mandate so we can continue to reach Israelis with Shelanu TV! You will be reaching into the lives of Israelis on their commutes and in their homes.
Together, we are going to see more and more Israelis come to Yeshua! Thank you.
One of the biggest reasons why Jews resist being "converted to Christianity" is the very real fear of losing their identity. And it is God-given, even if not accepted as such by secular Jews. But today, with a national homeland and Messianic congregations all over the world, the threat of assimilation is greatly diminished. The dragon is very aware of this threat to his "reign". Clearly the wars of Israel are also existential for Christians, but most nominal Christians are clueless about the end times.
Thank you for sharing this. Praying for a safe trip back home.
