Day 33 — Israel in Crisis
Iris is one of Elana’s childhood friends. She is also an emergency room nurse. On the morning of October 7, she was called in. Iris had heard the rockets and the Iron Dome activate, but she had no idea that there had been a massive ground assault by terrorists.
When she arrived, it looked more like a MASH unit, than a hospital. When I interviewed Iris at her home, her daughter was sound asleep on the couch. Iris' daughter is in her early 20s and serving in the IDF.
When she arrived, the place looked more like a MASH unit than a hospital. You need to hear her testimony.
Shockingly, the world seems to have already forgotten what happened on October 7th in Israel. What is worse, they’ve moved on from being concerned about the 242 hostages in underground tunnels in Gaza. We can’t forget.
Your generosity to Israelis at this time is one way to show that you have not forgotten. Today, Elana was at the hospital visiting Oded, the young man who was shot last week. He is very discouraged as the doctors don’t believe he will walk again. Please remember him in your prayers. Remember Aviv Haveron, an editor for Israel’s largest newspaper. Three of his family were brutally murdered and seven were kidnapped by Hamas. Remember Iris, the emergency room nurse who has to deal with PTSD of that day. Israel needs believers to pray and Yeshua to come.
Thank you for standing with Israel.
