What's in a name? Lots!!
When I first became a believer in Yeshua, I thought I was no longer Jewish.
But then I met Ziva. She was Israeli and she believed in Jesus! She told me, “Never say that again, that you're no longer Jewish!”, as she pointed her bony finger in my face.
Well, between her and my best friend Brian who was a Believer, I started to learn the how the Old Testament or Hebrew scriptures as well as the New Covenant, all show how very Jewish Jesus is, and his first followers were.
Especially their names!
In this week's installment of our series called “The Jewish Aversion to Jesus… Why?”, we delve into the VERY Jewish roots of our faith in Yeshua as the Messiah.
Thank you for loving the Jewish people and praying for the day when their eyes will be open to see Yeshua as He really is! The Jewish Messiah–for the Jewish people and all the nations.
Very keen, Chaim! nothing more Jewish than to believe in Yeshua! I was born James, now go by Ya'akov. Hand on the heel.
