What an exciting time to be alive and living in Israel! We are witnessing the fulfillment of prophecy right before our eyes—and YOU are playing a vital role in turning the words of God spoken through the prophets long ago into a reality in the here and now. You may be saying, “Ron, what are you talking about??”
I’m talking about Ukrainians—tens of thousands of them—coming to Israel! Our brothers and sisters from the north are coming home.
“However, the days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when it will no longer be said, ‘As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’ but it will be said, ‘As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.’ For I will restore them to the land I gave their ancestors.” (Jer. 16:14-15)
As Russia continues to tear into Ukraine and the war drags on, the millions who fled to Poland and other parts of Europe are looking for a more permanent home. Jewish Ukrainians are coming home to Israel. I believe God is drawing them…taking this terrible tragedy of war and showing His mighty hand to restore His people to the Land.
But they come with not much in hand.
When you make Aliyah (immigrate), you have to set up house, find employment, learn the language. This is where our Messianic brothers and sisters in the north, like Guy Cohen, are able to shine with the love of Yeshua, thanks to YOUR generosity—providing these weary immigrants with microwaves, sofa beds, refrigerators, and “kumkums” (Hebrew for kettles for making tea or coffee or soup, a much-used appliance in every Israeli home!).
The need continues to grow every day. Waves of immigrants continue to come. And we want to keep working with them as they get established. It is an amazing opportunity to show the love of Yeshua as we help the lost and hurting among His brothers and sisters.
“And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’” (Matt. 25:40)
