Would you come fishing with us?

I’m not going to lie to you—evangelism in Israel is hard.

Convincing a Jewish person that Jesus (Yeshua) is the Messiah is only step one. Then, by the power of the Holy Spirit, they must recognize their need not just to believe in Him, but to follow Him.

That is precisely why Shelanu TV exists.

There is a clear biblical mandate to reach the Jewish people with the gospel. The apostle Paul wrote, “My heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved” (Romans 10:1). And despite being called as the apostle to the Gentiles, Paul said he hoped to “somehow make my fellow Jews jealous, and thus save some of them” (Romans 11:14). Scripture even tells Gentile believers that they are called to “provoke Israel to jealousy” (Romans 11:11).

But we need your help.

Two years ago, Shelanu became an independent Israeli ministry. One of the most meaningful steps we took was registering with the Israeli government as a nonprofit. That decision was intentional—and, I believe, prophetic. It was our way of saying: We are Israeli. We are part of the restored people and nation of the Jewish people.

At the same time, that step meant we had to build our own support base from the ground up.

The good news is this: our entire annual budget is under $500,000. With that, we employ a team of six in Tel Aviv whose sole focus is sharing the life-changing message of Yeshua—day and night, 24/7—with the people of Israel.

I know many of you already support Shelanu, and I want you to know what your gifts are accomplishing.

Through social media and digital platforms, our Hebrew-language videos—testimonies, apologetics, worship, and teaching—are being seen by thousands of Israelis every month. That’s what you are doing. You are planting seeds in Israeli hearts—seeds we may never see fully grow this side of eternity.

Become a Fisherman

Many years ago, I was doing street evangelism with a close friend who is known as an exceptionally effective Jewish evangelist. We were at a public fair, and as people passed by, he would say something to nearly everyone. Frankly, it didn’t look very effective.

So I asked him about his approach.

He smiled and said, “I’m fishing. Do you know how many fish swim by and never take the bait?” Then he added, “But eventually, someone will respond—and when they do, we’ll have a powerful conversation about Yeshua.”

Sure enough, within minutes, we were in an intense conversation with a Jewish man that opened the door for prayer right there on the street.

That’s exactly what we’re doing at Shelanu TV—and I want to invite you to come fishing with us.

Not everyone who sees one of our Hebrew videos will stop and watch. But when someone does, we pray that God opens their eyes. And that has happened many times since we launched the channel in 2020. No, it’s not revival—yet. But for those who have embraced Yeshua as Messiah, it has been utterly life-changing. And I’m certain there are many more whose stories we may never hear.

Would you come fishing with us?Become a fisherman in the dry land of Israel.

I know that sounds strange. You fish in lakes, rivers, and seas—not dry land. But the prophet Ezekiel saw a vision where dry bones became living bodies when the breath of God entered them. In the same way, we believe the dry riverbeds will one day become rushing rivers. Israelis will come back—en masse—to their God.

Become a fisherman today. Support Shelanu TV.

Thank you for standing with us,

Ron
