Sharing the good news in Israel with the Jewish people is most often:
Relational
Requires patience
Rarely happens in an instant
Our team at Shelanu TV broadcasts the gospel through creative programs and innovative social media 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also have team members who field online questions and help those who want to connect with other believers, a Hebrew New Testament or other gospel-centered material.
Recently, Evan Santoro, our Station Manager, sent us the following testimonies. As you read, please be praying for these and others who are seeking Yeshua.
This month our team has been having ongoing conversations with a religious young man from Jerusalem named Yonatan. He asks many questions and sometimes enjoys debating, but we also sense that he genuinely wants to understand. Recently our discussions reached a key point: Why Yeshua? Why could the Messiah not be someone else? We have been looking together at the Messianic prophecies in the Tanakh (Old Testament) and discussing why they point specifically to Yeshua. Please pray that as he studies the Scriptures, God will open his heart and reveal the truth to him.
A woman (let’s call her Esther) from Jerusalem has shown interest in meeting believers in the past, but she became hesitant and stepped back. Recently, she reached out again expressing a desire to connect with believers. Our team connected her with a believer in Jerusalem who would gladly meet with her. Please pray that this time she will take the step to meet in person and begin building relationships within the believing community.
Another young man (Moshe) has been regularly watching our programs and often reaches out with questions after new videos are released. He is especially interested in topics such as God’s forgiveness, sacrifice, and the foundation of our faith in Yeshua. Although he currently struggles to accept that Yeshua is the Messiah, he faithfully follows the content and continues to ask thoughtful questions. Recently, after watching our episode on honoring father and mother, he began reflecting deeply on forgiveness and God’s grace, which opened the door for meaningful conversations about atonement and Yeshua. Please pray that the seeds being planted through these conversations and through the programs will one day bear fruit.
Your prayers and support are making a direct impact on the lives of these Jewish people and hundreds of thousands more!
Please consider making a special donation to or become a partner today with Shelanu to help us have a greater online presence and continue producing content that shows Israelis who Yeshua TRULY is.
Your support is making an eternal impact in Israel. Todah rabah (thank you)!
