What do you get a 5-year-old for their birthday?
Elana and I are not yet in our “grandparent era” (but we would love to be-hint, hint to our daughters). But we have a 5-year-old birthday party to go to very soon!
I’m not talking about a typical 5-year-old either. There was a rough start—the odds were stacked against survival. But miracle after miracle occurred and no, here we are—five years later and going strong!
