Everything is blooming!

We had a great service Friday night—thank you for praying—as I preached on faith. I tend to get quite insecure before I preach a message in Hebrew, but the Lord gave grace. My deep desire was to build up our local body and we received tremendous feedback from the precious saints.

After the service Friday night, Elana and I left for the Golan Heights. With the threat of war, traffic wasn’t bad at all as we drove up to the northern part of Israel. We are home safe now, and there could be American strikes any day or within the next couple weeks. But that's not why I'm writing.

Winter in Israel is a lot like spring in the US and other countries. Everything is blooming.

On Sunday morning, we headed to the Banias. In the Bible, this area is called Caesarea Philippi. This is where Jesus revealed himself to his disciples as the Messiah. However, Elana and I went to a different area than where we typically take our tour groups.

Here, you do about a 45-minute hike down to the river, and then another 15 minutes to the beautiful waterfalls. I decided to make a short video because it was just breathtaking. This isn't even the waterfall area, but the hike above. Everything is blooming. So many different shades of green and yellow.

Please let me know if you enjoy it!

😇thank You for the 2 tours. remind me of the foothill country back in N. CA. my parents used to take me out on hike and I'd love the feel of the foilage and talking to the critters and birds along the way. It is nice to see the GHs when it is not all brown and dry. Thank Again. - CSPrest NYC

Yes, I enjoyed it. My daughter is in Israel right now on a tour. She was going to Caesarea Philippi as well, but I think it's a couple days after you were there. I have been to Israel 4 times but never to the Golan Heights. Next time.

Yes, I enjoyed it. It resembles a place I fondly remember as child, one of my first, treasured memories. I do hope to go to Israel one day but not as a tourist but rather a servant with Tikkun at their kibbutz.

We would love to be there in person, but thank you for sharing this lovely area with us via video.
