Outreach in Tel Aviv

Friend, Shalom from Tel Aviv!

We can see Israelis come to Yeshua! We are seeing Israelis come to Yeshua! However, we want to see more!

God has been laying a great foundation here at Tiferet Yeshua these past two years. We now have a solid, loving staff, Elders in unity and nearly a dozen Shamishim (deacons). It is time to be more intentional about reaching out. In fact, since our last congregational meeting, it has been burning inside of me. The Lord has been speaking to me about ways we can bring Israelis to Yeshua, however one of them demands that we get our Coffee House up and running!

As many of you know, two businessmen from Maryland have partnered with us to build a Coffee House/Prayer Center here in Tel Aviv. They will donate $35,000 if we can raise an additional $35,000. It is June 2 and we have raised $22,188. We just need $12,812 more in order to double the 35 to $70,000 with their matching gift. But we have a dead line of June 30th!

While we will use the Coffee House for many events—

>> Prayer meetings, >> Bible studies, >> Young adults group, >> Fellowship meals on Friday evenings

…the most exciting thing we will do is begin to host small outreach concerts. Once a month, at least, we will invite local Messianic artists (like Shai Sol, who was just on a nationwide TV reality singing competition, where she declared her faith in Yeshua to all Israel) to come and minister in song. We will encourage people to bring their unbelieving friends as well as invite people from the area.

This is how to reach Israelis. Building relationships over a cup of café afuch (cappuccino) and listening to music. I am sure that Israelis will receive Yeshua in this Coffee House—but we need your help. We are less than $13,000 away from building an outreach center in Tel Aviv. As I write, my heart is ready to jump out of my chest, I am so excited about what God is going to do. The timing is right! It is time to reach out—to reach Tel Aviv! Will you partner with us?
