Macron loses temper at Israeli police protecting him

Macron loses his temper at Israel police at church, while in Israel to honor liberation of Auschwitz.

“French President Emmanuel Macron’s verbal altercation with Israeli police may have been caused by the Israeli officers posted to his security detail accidentally following him into the Church of St. Anne in the Old City of Jerusalem, which is reportedly French territory where Israeli police do not have jurisdiction.

“There’s no clear confirmation yet from Macron’s office as to the cause of his ire.”

This happened not long after Macron had a great visit with President Reuven Rivlin, saying to the Israeli leader, “We decided to talk about the issue of anti-Zionism as anti-Semitism in a direct and clear way. Anti-Zionism is not different from anti-Semitism,” according to Rivlin’s office.
