It’s Like No Other!

Israel is still reveling and rejoicing in the incredible events of these past few days. Of course, it remains to be seen whether Hamas will truly abide by the cease-fire. President Trump stated clearly that if they do not disarm, they will be disarmed.
“I spoke to Hamas, and I said, ‘You’re going to disarm, right?’ ‘Yes, sir. We’re going to disarm.’ — That’s what they told me. They will disarm or we will disarm them,”
— President Donald Trump, at the White House
Of course, I doubt there was a literal conversation like that—I don’t imagine Hamas leaders calling him “sir.” But I do believe they got the message. It’s now or never. Please continue to keep this in prayer. Pray for the leaders of Israel, the US, and our regional neighbors to keep the pressure on Hamas.
Tiferet Overflow
Every week, we drive up to Tel Aviv to meet with believers from across the region. Some come from as far away as Jerusalem, Ashkelon, and even the Dead Sea area — two hours away!
Last week was special. It was standing-room only! Maybe it was because we’re in the middle of Sukkot, or because of the joyful news that hostages were about to be released — I can’t say for sure. But what I do know is that God is moving.
It’s beautiful to see what the Lord is doing at Tiferet Yeshua Congregation. Oh, that He would pour out His Spirit on Tel Aviv! Would you agree with us in prayer for a powerful revival?
A Congregation Like No Other
Here’s a little secret — I could be wrong, but I believe Tiferet Yeshua might have the highest concentration of Jewish believers per capita of any congregation in the world!
Why? Because everything we do is in Hebrew, and we’re not located in a high-tourist area like Jerusalem or the Galilee, where many foreigners and tourists attend. This was the dream of Ari and Shira Sorko-Ram when they founded the congregation in the mid-1990s — and it continues to bear fruit today.
Since becoming a believer, I’ve been part of six congregations, but Tiferet Yeshua has been our home for over two decades — longer than all the others combined. I still remember our first service in June 2003. I couldn’t even understand Hebrew then, but I stood there weeping as I saw so many Israelis worshiping Yeshua together.
You Can Stand for Revival in Tel Aviv
We are believing God to raise the $70,000 needed by the end of the year to support Tiferet Yeshua. This congregation is truly a lighthouse in Tel Aviv.
It’s no coincidence that two of the most powerful New Testament miracles happened in the greater Tel Aviv area—both in Acts 9:
1. In Lod (Lydda) — near Ben Gurion Airport — Peter said to Aeneas, who had been bedridden for eight years, “Yeshua the Messiah heals you.” Instantly, he got up and walked. Scripture tells us that “all those who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.” A massive revival followed!
2. In Joppa (modern-day Yafo) — not far from Tel Aviv — a woman named Tabitha (Dorcas) died. Peter was called, and by God’s power she was raised from the dead. The Bible says, “This became known all over Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.” You can still find Tabitha’s School there today—a living testimony to that miracle.
