While I have typically not shared our updates regarding the IHOP KC investigation with our mailing list, I thought it would be good to send out the final report along with the letter we sent to the public earlier today.
We added some high-level experts in the field of clergy sexual abuse to the Pastoral Recommendation Team (PRT). They, along with the original PRT, have put together an effective and powerful statement. The process itself was grueling and painful, but hopefully it will lead to good outcomes.

Pastoral Recommendation Team Report
September 26, 2025
Dear Friends,
We regret the long delay in releasing this report. The delay was due partly to unavoidable logistical and personal obstacles, and partly because we chose to expand the group of expert advisors who reviewed the document.
An independent, interdenominational coalition of leaders produced this report. The role of our coordinating committee was to facilitate the investigation process and to convene the PRT, which operated with complete independence to avoid any appearance of bias.
Thus, two primary documents will be preserved for the record:
1. The Firefly Investigation Report
2. The PRT Report
With the completion of this report, the work of the Tikkun Coordinating Committee has come to an end.
We express our deepest gratitude to the members of the PRT, the advisors, and all who gave sacrificially of their time. We also thank those who generously contributed toward the costs of this investigation. Lastly, we would like to thank all who participated in the investigation.
We acknowledge that this has been a painful and imperfect process; yet we trust that the Lord can use it for good, despite its limitations. For those who have suffered any abuse and mishandling related to this whole situation, our deepest prayer is that you would experience wholeness, justice, and freedom. As leaders in the Body of Messiah, we are deeply sorry for what you have had to endure and suffer.
In Yeshua’s love,
The Tikkun Coordinating Committee for the IHOPKC Investigation
