WHAT? Italian pol to Holocaust survivor: Jesus wasn’t Jewish!
A Holocaust survivor in Italy “offended” a local politician in Trieste when she made the factual observation that Jesus was Jewish.
“I would gladly have this nice little grandma over for tea, I have great respect for her,” said Fabio Tuiach, the uninformed member of Trieste’s municipal council. “But as someone who is deeply Catholic, I was confused and offended because she said Jesus was a Jew — while for me he was the Son of God.”
He is so deeply Catholic that he seems to have never read the word of God. Yeshua us the “Son of David,” and David is Jewish. He is the lion of the tribe of Judah—Jewish! He returns to Jerusalem (not Rome) to set up his kingdom.

In fact, Tuiach abstained from voting on a motion to award the woman honorary citizenship in the city. “He was the son of God, he was God for me; therefore I will abstain,” he said.
Now Tuiach, 39, is under fire for his comments and has been widely criticized across Italy for his lack of knowledge of Yeshua’s Jewish lineage. Could it be that the former boxer got hit in the head one too many times? When blatant anti-Semite, Linda Sasour claimed that Jesus was a, “Palestinian of Nazareth and is described in the Quran as being brown copper skinned with wooly hair,” it was not a believer, but the son of Prime Minister Netanyahu who schooled her on the subject:
Are you that stupid? On the cross above Jesus’ head was the sign “INRI”- “Iesvs Nazarenvs Rex Ivdaeorvm”, which means in Latin- Jesus of Nazareth king of the Jews! The Bible say that Jesus was born and raised in Judea!

Meanwhile, Auschwitz survivor Liliana Segre, a well-known and loved public figure who was made senator for life in Italy, was recently placed under police protection after she began receiving hundreds of anti-Semitic hate messages and threats — up to 200 a day.
The 89-year old was sent to Auschwitz when she was 13 years old. Now she promotes Holocaust remembrance and a message of tolerance and solidarity.
Tuiach was interviewed by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz where he insisted that Jesus was not a Jew. He also tried to empathize with Segre.
“I too am persecuted [like her] because of my faith,” he said. “When I opposed the Pride Parade, which offends my religion, I was showered with insults.” “Jesus was born to a virgin, he is the Son of God. This should be obvious to anyone defending our true faith: How can he be a Jew?”
According to Jewish law, Jewishness is determined by the mother. But beyond that, a simple reading of the New Testament reveals that Yeshua lived as Jewish and keeping Torah, celebrating the Biblical Feasts (something only Jews did), including Passover, the night before he was crucified.
The other council members grumbled after Tuiach’s statement and, in any case, Segre was unanimously awarded honorary citizenship.
This weekend, about 1,000 mayors from towns across Italy marched through Milan in solidarity with, and alongside Segre.
