A map displayed during a multicultural event at an Atlanta school eliminated the State of Israel, replacing it with “Palestine.”
The map was part of a display of Palestinian culture at Autrey Mill Middle School’s annual event that featured 15 countries and welcomed 500 visitors. The map did not mention Israel, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
“I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with the individuals who presented an insensitive political and geographic representation,” school principal Trey Martin wrote in a letter to parents. “This display does not represent our school culture, which is one that values inclusion and unity.”
Map of “Palestine” shows Middle East without Israel in the “Palestinian” booth at the Atlanta Middle School Multicultural night
“We condemn this attempt to use our Multicultural Night for one’s own political or religious agenda,” he writes. “Please know that this type of display is not acceptable nor supported by the faculty and staff of Autrey Mill Middle School. This school is here for kids, not politics.”
Amazingly people would consider it “humanitarian” to replace a function, vibrant and prosperous democracy with an oppressive state governed by the corrupt Palestinian Authority or the demonic Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror groups.
A Fulton County Schools spokesman said it is investigating the incident.
