A Thanksgiving Surprise from Israel!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! Elana and I certainly did. We spent it with our daughters, and the highlight was a beautiful surprise. Our youngest, Danielle, was scheduled to fly into New York on Friday for a short work trip. She was able to move her flight to land in the middle of the night on Thursday, and, quietly, I used miles to get her a ticket from New York to Richmond so she could arrive on Thanksgiving morning instead.
Even though we had just seen her a few weeks ago in Israel, Elana was moved to tears when Danielle walked into her bedroom on Thursday. And our other daughters—who all live here in the US—also burst into tears when their sister arrived.
As a family that moved often during their childhood (Maryland, Ukraine, Hungary, Pensacola, Virginia, Israel), I always told the girls: “Your best friends are your sisters.” Seeing that bond so alive today was one of the greatest gifts of my life.
As meaningful as that moment was for our family, my heart is also deeply turned toward the family of faith in Israel, especially in these challenging days. Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, and I want to ask you—if Israel is on your heart—to stand with the work of Shelanu TV and Tiferet Yeshua.
Why Give?
Shelanu TV, the only Hebrew-language Messianic channel, continues to reach Israelis with the message of Yeshua—right in their own language and right in their living rooms.
Tiferet Yeshua, our vibrant congregation in Tel Aviv, serves as a spiritual home and a beacon of hope for believers and seekers to the 3.5 million Jewish people in the greater Tel Aviv region.
Your #GivingTuesday gift—whether today or tomorrow—helps us:
Share the Gospel in Hebrew with seekers all over Israel
Support and disciple young believers
Strengthen a community shining the light of Yeshua in Tel Aviv
Create media that reaches Israelis who would never walk into a congregation
Will you help us make a difference in Israel today?
Your generosity impacts lives, families, and futures. Every gift counts.
Thank you for loving our family, loving Israel, and standing with us during this season. May the Lord bless you richly as you give.
P.S. Every Hebrew testimony we film, every seeker who writes to us, every young believer discipled—it's because of partners like you. Thank you for helping us reach Israel with the message of Yeshua. Any gift, large or small, will help reach people!
