Amir Khoury, a 32-year-old Arab Christian policeman, gave his life a few months ago in the line of duty while trying to neutralize a terrorist who opened fire on innocent men, women, and children in an Ultra-Orthodox neighborhood near Tel Aviv. Khoury was hailed as a hero, and hundreds of Ultra-Orthodox Jews and others around Israel attended his funeral. Christians and Jews, mourning together the loss of this brave officer.
Now, we have an opportunity to honor Khoury. Recently, Elana and I met with Former Israel Ambassador to the US, Danny Ayalon, and his wife, Anne. Anne is the president of the Christian Friends of the Magen David Adom (CFMDA), a group of believers who support Israel’s volunteer emergency medical organization—Magen David Adom (it’s kind of like the Red Cross; except our symbol is the Magen David, the star of David). Magen David Adom medical volunteers are the first responders to a car accident, terrorist attack, or other emergencies.
During our meeting with the ambassador and his wife, I asked Anne about their upcoming projects. When she started talking about one to raise money to fund a “medi-cycle” (think of it as an ambulance on two wheels) in Amir Khoury’s memory, I immediately said we would pay for it.

Of course, there is no “we” without YOU! What an opportunity we have to demonstrate the love of Yeshua to Israelis. We are a Messianic Jewish ministry working with international Christians to bless Israelis by providing a lifesaving “medi-cycle” in the memory of an Arab Christian who died saving the lives of Orthodox Jews.

We will have a ceremony with Khoury’s family to announce the donation from believers in Yeshua the Messiah to honor their son’s memory. Imagine the impact this will have on the hearts of Jewish people in Israel and around the world.
Matching Funds!
We need to raise $50,000 for the “medi-cycle” and we already have matching funds! A couple in the US who loves Israel has agreed to match every dollar up to $25,000. So, if you give $100, they will match it with $100. If you give $50, they will give $50.
